Newsflash!A selected group of students who have interest in videography, producing, interviewing, research, and writing with focus for a weekly video highlight show. Our DMC team also writes and delivers our morning announcements and creates thematic videos. Students must have excellent behavior standing in the classroom, have the ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines. There is an application process.

Stage CrewA small team of students with audiovisual and technology technician interests. This club meets for performance rehearsals, assists with technology setup and repairs, and sets up presentations in the auditorium. Students must maintain acceptable academic performance and behavior expectations in the classroom. Students must also be available during after-school productions, like band and drama events. There is an application process for becoming a Stage Crew team member.

library leadersA selected group of students who promote and organize all of our activities in the media center. Students should be able to work independently to complete a task, be available from 7:45-8:15am on their assigned dates, maintain good standing in the classroom, and use excellent customer service skills.

dungeons & dragonsMeets every-other Wednesday from 3:15-5:00pm during the year. This club is open to all interested students who attend the after-school meetings.
The club aligns directly with the WCPSS Strategic Plan, incorporating Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking. Storytelling is a major component of the activities. DnD continues to grow in popularity and is quite fun to play! Bring a snack. |
First lego league roboticsA selected group of students who meet weekly after school and during IMPACT time during competition season in first semester.
The team members prepare for a regional and state competition. There are travel costs associated with team participation. The team will be preparing a long-term research project presentation, building teamwork skills, and learn how to program a LEGO Mindstorms robot. There is an application process, academic, behavior, and attendance requirement to participate on the team. |
